Food Bank at Parish Fire Station 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21

The food bank of Central New York will be holding a mobile food pantry distribution in the parking lot of the Parish Fire Station, 16 Union Street, Parish, New York. It will be drive through style, with no gathering of people. Anyone in need of food is encouraged to attend and receive a free box of food. Boxes will be limited to one per household. and will be distributed while supplies last. There are no income requirements for families and individuals wishing to receive food.

Oswego County Rabies Clinic April 22 in Pulaski POSTPONED

OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Health Department has postponed its rabies clinic for pets scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, at the Oswego County DPW Garage in Pulaski. Health officials hope to resume the rabies clinics later this season.

All animal bites, whether from a domestic animal or wildlife, should be reported to the Health Department as soon as possible. To report an animal bite or seek guidance concerning potential exposures to rabies, call 315-349-3557, weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.; or call 315-341-0086 after regular business hours, weekends and holidays.

Parish regular village board meeting, village elections Wednesday, March 18, 2020

The regular Parish village board meeting has been rescheduled. It remains on the usual third Wednesday of the month, on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, but the time has been changed to 10:30 a.m. The public is welcome to attend.

Village elections are also on Wednesday, March 18, from noon until 9:00 p.m.

Both the village board meeting and village elections will be at the Parish village gym, 2938 East Main Street, Parish, New York.

Parish Zoning Board of Appeals to hold public hearing Tuesday, November 12, 2019 – 748 Rider Street, Parish

There will be a public hearing to be held on November 12, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall located at 2938 East Main Street, Parish with the Zoning Board of Appeals to discuss an application for an area variance for a setback on the property located at 784 Rider Street, Parish, for a New Wireless Telecommuting Facility for Tillman Infrastructure. All those interested are welcome to attend.
