Legal notice — village soliciting bids for installation of an EV charging station

LEGAL NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Village of Parish is soliciting for bids for the installation of an EV Charging Station. The Village has received a Clean Energy Community NYSERDA Grant, a fund of $5,000.00. This grant will be applied toward the project.

The Village is soliciting for quotes for a charging station which would be located within the Village Parking Lot. The parking lot is located adjacent to DeGarmo’s Way.  The Village deadline to get the project started is August 4th, 2022. Please submit your quote prior to that date. Please clearly mark your bids and quotes  should be clearly marked “Sealed Bids”

Please submit the bids to the Village of Parish by mail at PO Box 308, Parish, NY 13131. The Village of Parish reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Parish community clean-up day Saturday, June 4, 2022

Parish Community Clean-up Day

Parish has scheduled their Annual Community Clean-up Day on June 4th, 2022 at the Parish Highway Garage located at 25 Dill Pickle Alley, Parish NY from 7:30 am-11: 00 am.  A $15.00 fee will be charged for any appliance brought for disposal that contains Freon. Tires will be accepted off rims. NO HOUSEHOLD TRASH Will BE ACCEPTED.  No paint cans or hazardous waste will be accepted. Parish to host rabies clinic on Wednesday, May 18

Oswego County will hold a rabies clinic on Wednesday, May 18 at the Parish highway garage from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. by appointment only. Call 315-349-3564 to make an appointment. Public Health Law requires all dogs, cats and ferrets be vaccinated by 4 months of age against rabies.

• If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call to cancel it.
• COVID preventative measures may be required based on current pandemic status.
• If you or your pets are sick, please reschedule your appointment.
• All pets must be at least 3 months of age. Pets receiving their first rabies shot must get a booster within 1 year.
• All pets must be restrained on a leash or in a pet carrier.
• Proof of previous vaccination is required to qualify for a three-year certificate. Accepted forms of proof:
(a) “Certificate of Vaccination” obtained from veterinarian or Oswego County Environmental Division or
(b) “Dog license” showing rabies expiration date.
